Three Rivers Behavioral Health offers a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in a direct patient care environment. Our students receive constant guidance and support and many interns graduate our program into full-time employees with our facility.

LPC Internship Program
Our LPC students are supervised by a Licensed Professional Counselor. Students have the opportunity to complete hours for their Practicum and their Internship.

Students participate in the following:

• Rotations through each Outpatient Program: Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program, Trauma Recovery Program, Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Program, and Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program
• Participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach
• Plan and facilitate psychoeducational groups and therapeutic processing groups
• Write integrative summaries
• Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare
• Learn how our facility impacts the community

MSW Internship Program
Our MSW students are supervised by a Licensed Social Worker.

Students participate in the following:

• Rotations through each Inpatient Unit, working with each population that we serve (adolescent through adult)
• Participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach
• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments
• Plan and facilitate psychoeducational groups and therapeutic processing groups
• Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare
• Learn how our facility impacts the community
• Participating Masters of Social Work Programs:
